premiere vs avid xpress

hello iam new at avid xpress while iam pretty expert at premiere now any one dealed with these softwares and knows who is the best cas i wana know is it really differs so i start learning avid or what

If you wanna learn another editing system I'd go with Final Cut. Avid isn't that disimilar to prem, but it has no real advantages over it as far as I can see. We have it a college, and I have no idea why it is the "industry standard."
